Successful Hosting of the 8th "Belt and Road" Business Services Forum and Celebration of Reanda International’s 15th Anniversary in Jakarta, Indonesia (Press Release)

On November 28, 2024, the 8th “Belt and Road” Business Services Forum (the “Forum”), with the theme “Empowering Cross-Border Enterprises for High-Quality Sustainable Development,” and the celebration of the 15th anniversary of Reanda International were grandly held at the Pullman Hotel in Jakarta Thamrin.

Under the guidance of the Global Alliance for Trade in Services and organized by Reanda International, the Forum received strong support from various organizations, including the China Association of International Trade, the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products, the Accounting Society for Foreign Economic Relations and Trade of China, the China International Chamber of Commerce for the Private Sector, the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the Indonesian Employers Association, the Indonesian Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Jimei University Alumni Association of Indonesia. More than 300 guests attended, including leaders from the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia, officials from the Indonesian government, experts, scholars, enterprise representatives and media friends from both China and Indonesia.

The Forum was hosted by Mr. Franklin Lau, CEO of Reanda International. Mr. Jinhui Huang, Chairman of Reanda International, delivered the welcome address. Distinguished speakers included Mr. Jiang Zengwei, former Vice Minister of the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, former Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Chairman of the Global Alliance for Trade in Services, and Mr. Sun Shangbin, Vice Chairman of the China Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia and President of Bank of China Jakarta Branch. The keynote speech was delivered by Mr. Riyatno, Deputy Chairman for Investment Climate Development at the Ministry of Investment and Downstream Industries/BKPM of the Republic of Indonesia.

During the celebration of Reanda International’s 15th anniversary, Chairman Mr. Huang shared insights into Reanda International’s development and achievements over the past 15 years. Attendees witnessed the launch of Reanda International Consulting Network, the Tianjin Enterprises “Going Out” Service Alliance, the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement between Reanda International and the Grand Batang City in Indonesia, the signing of new network firms joining Reanda International along with the release of the “Indonesia Investment Guide (2024)” written by Reanda Indonesia.

The Forum featured a series of keynote speeches from distinguished guests, including Mr. Agung Wicaksono, Deputy of Financing and Investment of Nusantara Capital City, Ms. Pande Putu Oka Kusumawardani, Head of National Revenue Policy at the Fiscal Policy Agency of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Angga Brahmana Sukma, Director of Marketing and Development of Grand Batang City, and Ms. Kani Tillansia Pranata, Corporate Relationship Manager of Bank of Central Asia. They shared unique insights and valuable experiences on promoting cooperation and development between China and Indonesia under the “Belt and Road” Initiative.

The roundtable discussion was moderated Mr. Koong Lin Loong, Regional President of the Southeast Asia and South Asia of Reanda International and Managing Partner of Reanda Malaysia. Mr. Cahyo Purnomo, Investment Promotion Director of the Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), Mr. Alvin Christian, CFO and CRO of Indonesia Healthcare Corporation (IHC) and Secretary General of CFO Club Indonesia, Mr. Dan Chen, China and Indonesia “Two Countries, Twin Parks” Batang Industrial Park Project, Chairman of the Board of Wanxinda Holdings, Mr. Tiger Sun, Director of PT Fotile Electrical Appliance Indonesia, Ms. Michelle Bernardi, CEO of Reanda Indonesia, and Mr. Abdullah Alsemail, Eastern Region Manager of Reanda Saudi Arabia, engaged in discussions. They explored solutions and strategies to address challenges faced by cross-border enterprises, particularly in Indonesia, and provided recommendations on how business service organizations can better support high-quality development for cross-board enterprises under the “Belt and Road” Initiative.

With innovative setups and thoughtful arrangements throughout the Forum, the speeches and discussions offered sharp insights and valuable takeaways for all attendees. The Forum concluded successfully to enthusiastic applause from the participants.
